The 14th Edition

This year the SMMians are hosting the 14th edition of Estuary, which is a legacy event of SMM, Chennai campus, that is organised every year in the form of a two-day a National-level Seminar/Symposium and a mega Intercollegiate Management fest bringing together industry experts and student community from across the country. The objective is to provide a platform for learning, competition, and collaboration beyond the classroom. Scheduled for 1st and 2nd April 2026, this year Estuary’ 26 is designed to include a deep dive into contemporary Supply chain dynamics, stimulating leadership lessons, and a fair dose of colourful fine arts.

This year, the theme of discussion will be,“Navigating Trade Turbulence: Geopolitics, Tariffs, and Sustainable Supply Chains.” It was chosen for us to reflect on the complexities of Shipping and Logistics in today’s global trade environment. With shifting geopolitical dynamics, evolving tariff structures, and an increasing emphasis on sustainability, businesses are required to constantly adapt and evolve.

Estuary’26 aims to engage participants with these challenges through insightful discussions and competitive events. The fest begins with an engaging symposium featuring expert perspectives drawn proudly from our own notable SMM Alumni, followed by a series of management events that test strategy, creativity, and decision-making.
